KJ drove the lane and in very controlled fashion passed it off to Scoop for a wide-open uncontested three. It appeared to be a set play although I'm not sure. I really would like to see a lot more of KJ in sort of a point forward role looking to dish off when he drives instead of the forced inside over-dribble turnover forces. We could run that play for Triche or South just as easily I would think.

We had about 3-5 set plays like that except the shots just didn't fall. They will.

I agree. Didnt know if it was a set play or not but it sure looked like it. It is a very nicely designed play and I agree that we will start shooting again. Just need to get our mojo back...

I was suprised at the end of the game we didnt run the offense through KJo. For as much hand wringing he can cause, he looks like he starting to figure it out and he played great down the stretch last night. Would have much rather had KJo with the ball at the end yesterday, than Dion throwing up some off balance wild floater when he was clearly off.

Sitting next to Fab advising him to get his together as WVA was just destroying us on the boards. :bang:
In our defense isnt WVU a monster rebounding team? I know they were getting a TON of offensive rebounds against Baylor in the game I watched.

I don't know about monster, but solid yes. My post was a poor attempt of making light of the matter.

To me, rebounding is mostly about grit, effort and toughness, for whatever reason, our guys seemingly just don't have the gumption.

Yea, we were able to hold our own and Rak played well against Cinci but all they had was Yancy Gates, who is alot better than Kilicla but along with Kilicla they have Kevin Jones. Kevin Jones and Kilicla are ten times better rebounders right now than Fair/Rak or South/Keita.
