Class of 2022 ATH Jojo Bermudez (NJ) Portal from Cincinnati to Delaware

Scrappy, really physical. Makes some spectacular plays in the air and is just all over the football. Shows good acceleration and excellent vision. Size is the obvious concern.

Brian is so full of crap. If he visited other schools secretly than he didn’t want to go to rutgers. Its obvious they didn’t do a good enough job recruiting him.

I'd love to see Syracuse involved, but he wasn't visiting/working out for Syracuse on the down low.

Weird recruitment because he was just about their first verbal in that class. It doesn't seem like he bonded with the other verbals as is the normal case... then the reports of him looking around more recently at the higher profile programs
It appears that he does not have a commitable offer to a team on the level he is looking for, at least not yet.
If he de- committed without an offer I hope he does not come to regret his decision...

From all reports he has excellent speed, although he would not run a 40 at PSU, which raised concerns from their staff (possible temporary injury?)

He de commited knowing that he can lose a spot there. He didn’t want to be at rutgers or he wouldnt have taken that chance. All their fans have raved about his skil set for months. Bragging about his speed and 7v7 performances. The last month or so they started turning on him when he worked out at penn st. and Georgia. Now he is too small, too light for the big ten. It’s hilarious.

He won't regret his decision. Kent State is a better program than ruckers.

It's pretty disingenuous. Rather than just saying he's a quality prospect that they wanted, but he started to look around and Rutgers decided to go in a different direction, all the misinformation starts flowing out of the woodwork. Pretty bizarre fanbase there. Jilted Ex mentality is pretty pervasive.

This was a big loss for RU and few fans downplayed his football ability after he decommitted. All that was known for sure is that he went to Georgia and another college trying to get an offer after he was committed to RU

So, either Schiano would not accept him to continue doing that, or the player decided he would decommit and take his chances

But it is pretty much certain that the visits started the falling out, not a second guess as to his ability

The only major offer was Cincinnati, which he pretty much jumped at after being on the market for a good period of time

As I posted before, every program can suffer such a decommit if the player thinks he is not where he can reach his own personal potential, or does not feel like where he committed feels like home
