I'm just gonna hate watching a home game on TV and seeing barely 35k in the Dome on a National TV game. Yeah the program has stunk for the past 15 years besides last year and this year has been frustrating, but it's still a rivalry game on a Friday night.

I 'm down in Raliegh right now. Just got back from the game. I don't make a ton of money. Had a great time but really feel like I put too much towards SU football.

No there’s been buzz going in town the whole week about the friday night game. There will be a lot of people. Itll be announced something stupid like 45 or 46 but there will be over 40.

the crowds this year have been significantly better thus far than the past three years

if you were on the fence about next week, you need to show up. Show this team that we will support them. Do it for the recruits that might be in the building. Do it to support this program in the future. This is a rivalry game and we need it. The kids need the energy. Let’s show them what Cuse nation is about. Let’s be LOUD.

I can't make it because my son has his own football game but we'd all be there otherwise. A Friday night game against Pitt? man I just shake my head at the locals who really have nothing going on and don't choose to go just to hang out and have some fun. This time of year I honestly can't think of anything more fun I'd rather do on a Friday night in Syracuse than to go hang out at a tailgate and football game with my kids, brothers and friends etc. What a shame if it's lightly attended.

Tell you how goofy I am. My middle child, my daughter is getting married on 19Oct19 here in Syracuse. I will do the rehearsal at the church and then headed up to the game. Of course I will be there on Saturday for the big day but I have all the blessings of all involved to go to the game on 18Oct19. Go Orange!!!!!!

I don't know why we spend so much time focusing on something we can't control. Fan support is what it is.

I mean - yeah if we're 6-0 and there would be more fans. Losing means less. It's the same thread over and over again.

The problem is most locals who aren't diehards consider it a chore to attend when were not winning. 95% of them don't tailgate or even if they did would have no idea how to make it happen and they would rather casually follow it on TV at home then go through the motions of fighting traffic trying to park etc etc. That is just for the ones who would actually consider going, the biggest % of locals won't even consider going, its not they there purposefully choosing not to go they don't even consider it an option. You would be amazed how many people have that attitude.

I think Pitt will be my last game before heading home. I might still be here for BC, but don’t want to dawdle too much. I have things to do. I wish we’d played better while I was here, but you get what you get. It’s still been a pleasure to participate. I don’t know what next fall will bring, but this year I got to go to SU football games and the Fine tailgate. Don’t take it for granted...
