Cuse fans...us this thread to post where you are staying, any promo codes, get togethers, etc...

Women Nov 20-22

Men Nov 24-26

P.S. I'm just putting this up for fans. Unfortunately, I can't make it this time.

Just booked last week for Atlantis (Royal) Tuesday-Saturday. Flights done as well. Now, just working on game tickets.

I see they have several different price levels this time. Last time I bought them directly through Atlantis, worked out well. I'm still finalizing numbers, but we have a firm group of ten right now with three on the fence. I am curious how others are getting tickets. Buying through Atlantis? Or waiting to buy through SU? I emailed Atlantis box office about a week ago, but never heard anything. Might give a call tomorrow.

Your call...small arena of 3000 seats. I'd probably buy them through Atlantis if they offer the area and price point you like. My understanding is you can buy a complete game package or just a 3 game package of all Syracuse games.

Ended up booking group of ten tickets for the Syracuse 3-game pack right through Atlantis online (Event Tickets). Right now, they have four different price points available ranging from $122-$502.

See everyone there!

No Syracuse ticket packages on Atlantis website. I even contacted them directly and they have every other team packages available except SU.
Will SU be making available for purchase to season ticket holders?

Or are they already sold out?

Consigliere did you buy your SU ticket package yet?

I did. Through Atlantis. Apparently the SU packages have been apearing and disappearing with some regularity. From what I have been told, the last time we went to Atlantis, they mandated that every school work with Miller Travel to put packages together for their fans. Really was fairly well run. This time schools assumed the plan was the same but things were delayed by the pandemic. Atlantis then launched everything on their own catching Syracuse (and all other participating schools) off guard.

I believe the Orange Club is trying to pull something together and, if successful, will announce by May 1. Could be why any remaining packages were pulled. I was advised to purchase on my own to be safe, then work with the Orange Club iif I have any issues after they announce.

In mid-March the Atlantis only had Cuse Sideline Corner and Endline Court options available. 2 weeks ago Mid Court and Premium options appeared and Sideline Corner or Endline Court (I can’t remember which) disappeared. Then for the past week nothing has been listed.

I have spoken with the Atlantis a few times over the past month and they have confirmed they see the same options as we do. They indicated that their box office would have more insight but are closed until June. Tried sending the box office an email a month ago but have not gotten a response.

I also spoke with SU in March and they did not have any details at that time and as Consigliere mentioned in another post, recommended I purchase through Atlantis. SU said at that time they would have a press release off some sort when options became available and since then I have only seen this which mentions tickets available through Atlantis.

Initially I grabbed the Sideline Corner option and purchased the Mid Court seats when they became available. Atlantis’ Customer Care group gave me no trouble returning the Sideline Corner seats when I explained the situation so grab tickets if something pops up.

If I recall correctly the arena holds about 3000 people. They are selling packages for all games and probably holding tickets for gamblers so let’s assume this consumes 1000 tickets. That would leave 2000 tickets or 1000 team packages for each game. 2021 Battle 4 Atlantis has minimal confirmed attendees so I think there is either a big glitch on the Atlantis website or SU has obtained the remaining tickets and has not yet made them available.

I locked in mid court tickets directly through Atlantis by calling and also have rooms at Royal booked via Marriott/Bonvoy account.
tried to book via Caesars account but hotel has blacked out casino comped rooms that week. Making the long trek so staying a week total, Sunday-Sunday.

Have fun Alaska...Even though I live in Florida...going to the Bahamas is a PITA. I have two FB road trips to Louisville and NCST just prior and decided it was too much.

Thanks Mark. I’m coming/blasting back for a couple of home FB games for sure. Clemson and tbd. My brother wanted to do Bahamas hoops Tournament one time so I jumped on it. Great line up.

Anyone have a better sense of the ticket situation at this point? I just booked flights and a room but (at least via the Atlantis website) the only Syracuse packages available are behind the basket. I'd rather pay up for better seats, but it's unclear to me if some will be sold through SU or if I better take what I can get right now.

i was told they’re only selling behind the basket seats because their government hasn’t opened up capacity. Once they do, they’ll move people based on when they purchased tickets. Apparently the earlier you buy, the better seat you’ll get.

I'll give a call today and see what I can figure out, but the capacity explanation doesn't make sense to me because the fan packages for the other schools seem to have more options. It's just SU that only has behind the basket. I'll post whatever I find out.

Ugh interesting. Keep us posted brotha.

Wonder if they are limiting ticket sales in each section for the time being based on potential limitations and we already sold the limited allotments out in the other sections? That might explain why there have been differences with us vs other teams for the past few months.

Initially I could only get behind the basket or sideline corner seats but then about 6 weeks ago center ones appeared out of the blue for a few days. Could be restrictions eased and more seats were made available?

I tried numerous times to get clarity from The Atlantis. Despite trying their best to help nobody had answers. 1 tip, be careful directly calling the box office as it is a long distance call. I stayed on hold there about 20 minutes one day and never got a person. To my delight I had a $100 charge on my next cell bill, apparently my Verizon plan did not cover calls to the Bahamas!

Well, here's the update after speaking to the box office today. SU fans, as usual, are travelling VERY well and all Syracuse game tickets, other than the behind the basket end line seats, are sold out. That is not the case for any of the other teams. The box office rep did not think any additional tickets were being held back and advised to buy now, because the seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis (in the section purchased). They also said that tickets were only being sold to people with confirmed reservations at the Atlantis -- at least for now (though, anecdotally, I've heard folks staying elsewhere have been able to get some tickets). So, I bought. They did say that they are currently at 70% capacity, so there is a possibility that that gets increased to 100% and additional tickets get released -- but who knows how they will allocate those -- if they will offer to those with crappier seats or just release them to the general public. I'd also imagine that there will be same day tickets available not in the dedicated Syracuse section. It is what it is, but I'm going to be very frustrated if SU has an allocation that they release at a later date or if Atlantis releases better seats to the general public if capacity restrictions are lifted. But enough griping -- I was there last time and it really is fair to say there is no bad seat in the arena. And it sounds like we are going to absolutely take over the whole resort.

Got an email from SU today, two to three months after most booked their trips, announcing package deals for Atlantis.

We spoke to JW about the Bahamas when we were in Indianapolis. He mentioned that something would be available sometime this summer. I think he may have even said July.

Unfortunately, the athletic department fails to realize that most people have to make plans. Something should have been said to season ticket holders at the very least, but I don’t think anything was sent out. I understand they are short staffed and had other pressing issues within the department, but poor communication is an ongoing problem.
Just checked my email. As of right now, I got nothing which is par for the course.

Didn't they announce packages in January last time?

Thanks for sharing. Looks like only behind the basket or corner seats are available. Guess we bought out all of the midcourt tickets during the short time they were available through the Atlantis. Going to be lots of Orange in the Bahamas!

Last time Atlantis partnered with Miller Travel to put together packages for all participating schools. Not sure if they delayed due to Covid, or if Atlantis just wanted to cut out the middleman, but we were told when they announced their packages back in March that we should probably just book. I know Syracuse and several other schools were not happy with the confusion. Maybe the resort decided late to go with a travel partner again. Rates don’t look any better but I will have to see what I can do about some of the amenities in the package - VIP reception and Welcome gift.

I've already snuck on to a yacht, now I have to sneak into a VIP reception?!

I have 4 tickets to the battle 4 Atlantis. SU games, mid court. My family can no longer go, so bummed!! If anyone wants to buy them & is staying at the Atlantis, let me know. I can have them transferred. Price negotiable. Thanks!!
