BE to ACC

We've played three games. Little early for this sort of overconfidence/arrogance.

Well we no longer have to pay this guy to sit midcourt and yell at the refs, we could always send a mask of him to George Hicker if things get ugly though.

Thets get a fund going to get him on our bench when we go down to Cameron.

The ACC is down this year. ND lost Grant, who knows about Pitt yet, UNC and Duke are not UNC and Duke. But it will get MUCH better. Some of us remember the Big Least years where we didn't have a final four team for a decade. Any conf with SU, UNC, Duke, LVille, Pitt, and ND won't be down too long.Right now we're just getting a glimpse of what life has been AS UNC or Duke for a long while where you're elite and everyone is just looking to you to carry the conf. Soon the rest of the ACC will see what the BE was like with a lot of good teams and tough games most nights.

Bump this up in a month.

One thing I noticed, we just played VPI and Miami, got Pitt and BC coming up, ND two games after that, not to mention playing St John's and Villanova in December. It almost doesn't feel like a new conference yet, only in the fact that I don't remember Jim Burr reffing any of our games.

We're almost going to be in 2 conferences at once. If we begin playing GTown as expected, that will give us 17 opponents we play annually, 14 ACC plus SJU, Nova, and GTown. But you could also think of it as 9 teams we played as BE rivals, SJU, Nova, GTown, Pitt, LVille, ND, Miami, BC, VTech and 8 old ACC teams FSU, GTech, Clemson, Wake, NCS, UNC, Duke, Virginia.

Oh god that's right. My viewing stress level had dropped so low after we joined the ACC and that is it, no Burr in our side. Makes me so happy to never see him again.

To be fair. The former BE would be pretty bad right now too.

Only Nova, Cincy and a slipping Louisville would add much.

Uconn, Georgetown, and Marquette are down. St John's, Providence and Seton Hall are their normal selves. And Rutgers, USF and DePaul still stink.
