biggest shot...

Lots of candidates... Another huge play was the phantom foul they called on Miami on a TC put back attempt. That was a terrible call.

yep.. make up for all those legal screens of theirs.

the fact this is not a unanimous answer is a major positive in that multiple players stepped up when it was absolutely necessary or else we lose.

yes... but cooney and fair did not really step up in the clutch clutch. they were both pretty non-existent.

IMO, it was Jerami Grant's 17 footer from top of the key. That was one of those...no no no no...yes...shots.
definitely. And then Raks O rebound and put back. Huge.

Lots of candidates, but CJ's 3 to stop the clapping kept me from committing brutal felonies.

Agree it was big. I might actually put Rak's putback above it, though. We desperately needed that.

Just to pile on - I think that was the biggest. The team was showing zero on offense, and we needed something to stop their run. That was it. After that everything seemed to click. I think it allowed the team to loosen up a bit. A bit of a whirling dervish, but a very nice put back.

Agree with that, and just as important, we didn't give up many points in the last 5 minutes, IIRC. Team D was better, all the way to the rebound.

Yeah #22 set a record for illegal screens...one possession I counted 4!

I always wonder what happens when the players gripe to the officials about that and then it just keeps on going. I saw Cooney or Ennis say something once - do the refs just ignore them, or just tell them that it's okay and that we're just gonna ignore the rules for a bit.

It seems like the only teams that get called for it (or player, Baye and Rak get their share) are the teams that try to use legit screens, and then move a bit one out of seven times. The teams that have a big man just chase the guards around up top moving screening the hell out of them rarely seem to get the whistle called on them.

Baye is called for it a lot, usually at a critical juncture.

Fair's 3, Grant's jumper, Rak's put back and Cooney not losing it and then drawing a foul were the plays that allowed us to escape

Raks put back.
