Board Full of Alcoholics...

At the final four in 2003 the team hotel ran out of beer. The bartender stated he has never seen a group of people drink more than the Syracuse fans. That was in New Orleans...LOL

Quest to lose 15 pounds by the duke game

No booze for this guy until then.

Its gonna be a long month

My brother in law has done what he calls his whiskey diet: no beer, just jack or jamo. He lost forty pounds one summer.

Just throwing that out there as an option...

This is pretty lame. Me and a couple of college buddies (after all are original plans blew up) met up at and drank the 12 pack i had hidden in my cooler in the back of my car and rang in the new year.
I drank a 12 pack too.

Then the chick fil-a bowl kicked off.....

Yes sir. Lots to lose so it comes off easier when you are hefty
Agree, easy the first two weeks. Most is water. I lost 30-40 lbs three times in recent years. Also have gained all back each time. Going to work on it too, Marsh. Probably will drop 30 by summer. Quitting cigarettes certainly won't make this diet easier.

Got drunk last night, still was at the Y by 11. Can't wait for all the resolutioners to show up tomorrow and ask me 800 questions. I don't find it hard to drink and stay and stay in shape, but when you are me, single, with no kids you can be at the gym three hours a day.

No diet for me but need to get back to regular workouts, the rest will fall into place. I may have to switch to Mich Ultra cause I don't see how I would ever make it through a Syracuse basketball season without some sort of enabler, but the thought of that makes this chick sad

I lost 70 lbs in 4 months. Can definitely be done safely. PM for details... (i.e. I still drank at least once a week, just don't eat when you drink.)

I lost 90 pounds 4 years ago. Probably gained back 25 since then. Just going back to what worked. Nothing to drink but water, watch what i eat and not eating between meals and after 6pm. The weight will drop. Plus i already run 25 miles a week.

I touched another mans... whoa wait a minute, wrong board. That could have been embarrassing.

Damn marsh, you must have quite the calorie intake to gain weight running 25 miles a week.

The 25 pounds have been over the last 6 months. Its been a food and drink bender for 2 months which happens this time of year. Too much food especially. I think i ate 10,000 calories over christmas. Oy.

To be honest no coffee will be harder than anything

Why no coffee? Coffee actually has been shown to help weight loss, as a means to an end (higher energy and concentration --> more focused and intense workouts). In my opinion coffee is one of the best pre-workout drinks you can have. Much better for the body than some of the products out there in the supplement industry.

This is of course assuming you drink it black, which is how I drink it. If you're adding sugar and cream, well, you're not really drinking coffee anymore :)

This is why am not drinking coffee. 4 creams and 4 sugars. Better to just eliminate it
