Riley is considered an up and comer and "hot name"For now, they have to be looking at a bigger name down the road.

I don't know, even though they are in difference conferences now, I am not sure I could hire a HC who's first name is the same as the location of the campus of one of your long term rivals.Riley is considered an up and comer and "hot name"
He is, until he doesn't win, then they will want a bigger name, and they will realize how good they had it with stoops, and beg him to come back.
except by then he will be Head Coach of the Bears. He is, until he doesn't win, then they will want a bigger name, and they will realize how good they had it with stoops, and beg him to come back.

lot of smoke about the NFL for him, including the town of his shiny new home...Chicago.
and this sets him up nicely to be in play in 6 months...of course for both levels.
he will be 1 of the 1st January hires...

im not up on my bears internal affairs, but it just 'fit' the simple dots I connected.Chicago is not hiring him anytime soon. They've spent a lot of money, for them, to make the changes they now have in place. It doesn't matter if they are successful or not, the Bears will ride pace/fox for at least 2 more seasons, minimum.
