"I don't see a better guard in the country."

JB speaks the truth. I can't think of any guard I would rather have than Dion.

The good Scoop could be the best pg. The most accurate statement would be that, 'I don't see a better 3 guards in the Country'.

He alluded to that after the Pitt game. He said when Scoop has his shot his one of the best PGs in the league.

Also, how many teams would MCW get legit playing time for? I'd be willing to bet 99% of D1 teams.

This year has predominantly front court stars, when you think of Kidd-Gilchrist, Anthony Davis, Thomas Robinson, Sully, Kevin Jones, the Zellers, Barnes, Henson, Kris Joseph, Khris Middleton...not as guard dominated like the last few years have seemed, so JB might not be far off.

The great thing about this year is that two quality players get to learn from a 5th year senior, who really knows how to lead. A third year player who is a team player and has the mental ability to defer, and finally, a kid who was a bonehead, freshman season, who made himself an NBA prospect by having a major attitude & conditioning adjustment.

Michael Carter-Williams and Trevor Cooney have very bright futures after this, their apprentice season. When they are interviewed you can tell they are taking all of this in and storing it for future reference. Having a highly respected GMAC bringing them along is an added bonus.

Agreed. If Carter-Williams were starting for us this year, I'd be fine with it, excited about it even. Its ridiculous how many good players we have this year. I never remember a player as good as Cooney red shirting for a reason other than injury. That is going to pay off huge down the road.

Dear lord, what could this team be with Cooney gunning from 3 this year?
