Seems to me that on his last few trey attempts that Brandon has not been rising vertically, but rather that he has been leaning in. Good form for a floater in the lane, not so hot for a long range bomb. Overall, he had nice minutes against Pitt.

Drives me crazy when he does this. He leans forward on some of his attempts. I wish he would just square up and fire. Its like he is almost trying to aim it in rather than just trust his shot.

I have noticed the lean also. It is a habit I wish he would break. On the other hand, he has made some when leaning.

This is why he'll never be a very good shooter, just a decent one. His form and amount of lean seems to vary each shot. You aren't going to find consistency with that.

Agreed, seen the same thing. Some of those threes have been Paul Harri'esque with how flat they are as well.

He needs to work on being more consistent w/ his form.

yup he does...he is shooting .386 from 3 in all BE games..but in last three games he is 0-6...and the lean has become more noticeable as each of these three games are played...perhaps he wants a 3 so bad he is aiming.

By he way, in the previous four BE games he was shooting 10 for 20 or 50% from the 3 point line...

He is going to be above 40% this year....!!

I can't say when he started the lean, just saying it has been particularly noticeable to me the last couple of games.
Maybe it is a recent bad habit that he has just picked up.

It's not just his three point shooting that he is doing that. His jumper now looks like he is thinking through the steps in his head while he is doing it. If it keeps going in, great. However, it doesn't look effortless.
