Watch it. It's really funny.

Hank Azaria is perfect for the role. Amanda Peet works well in her part too.

My only issue - there's no way all that drinking wouldn't age them much worse.

I wrote this in the show hole thread on here. Have watched the first four episodes now and really enjoy it:

I just watched the first 2 episodes of Brockmire starring Hank Azaria on IFC (didn't even know I got that channel - probably because I had to search forever to find where it was buried). Anyway, so far I've found the show to be pretty hilarious. Some great one-liners. Worth checking out.

Bob Greenwald. This might be my new favorite show. Luckily I could just search by title, otherwise I might not have been able to locate IFC. Now that the DVR is set, I can go back to not knowing where IFC is.

Jim Brockmire's back for season two. Azaria's a genius, great role he created for himself. The Getaway Game

My favorite Azaria role ever, though: Agador Spartacus.

Just watched my DVR’d episodes of season 2.

Love this show so much.

Will be interesting to see where Azaria takes a sober Brockmire in future seasons.
