Carey would be a nice complimentary piece, and he has good physical tools to play the 5 in our system.

But the real prize we're pursuing is Barlow. Would love to land that kid -- as he seems like a difference maker -- a guy who would far outshoot his ranking, a la CJ Fair.

Looks like a 2-3 year starter. Type of player that will do well in JBs system. Would be a great get.

I say, let's get them both.

And Bunch.

Love the confidence, and the fact that he models his game after Kevin Garnett in terms of "active big, plays hard, always competes". KG was one of the most intense, competitive bigs I've ever seen- you never saw him take a day off. I like this kid's future.
He's got a terrific frame for a kid just entering his senior year of HS.

He breaks the mold of the beanpoles we tend to recruit, without sacrificing any of the athleticism / hops. Sign him!!!

Let’s not go overboard. Carey’s range is a layup and Flip could make threes and lead the break. Garnett went straight to the NBA. That’s not going to happen for Carey. He’s a three star prospect not a top 5 pick.

Nobody is saying he’s going to dominate here in year one, but he has the tools and athleticism to be very good by year 3. Not any different than what the expectations are with Edwards

And this kid was just discovered this summer. He never played top level ball until this year so that’s the biggest reason he doesn’t show up in many recruiting services database.

We'll see how good Flip is when he goes up against the big college players in every game.

Which is typically Cuse’s sweet spot for landing guys like this.

Get them before they blow up, and then train them up once they get on campus.

When Rony Seikaly got here all he could do was dunk and block shots/rebound

Yep. Btw what’s your take on Bunch? Surprised it’s gone so long personally.
I don't think he really knows where he wants to go. Potentially waiting for a big time offer to come around
