While we're here, I know this is Jimmy V's week(I know I tend to be melodramatic, but anyone who isn't moved by that speech is probably no longer human) but I want to use this thread to give an equally strong shout out/RIP to Big East founder Dave Gavitt. Greed was the mark of the beast that killed the Big East, but not before it's creator was able to rest in peace.

All of those years of classic rivalries that many of us remember, and some of us grew up on were due in large part to Dave. Like a favorite lost loved one, it is hard to imagine anything ever replacing them. RIP Dave, and thank you for enriching the lives of so many.
