Over the last several recruiting cycles we have been able to get some really good players out of Canada. Most of these players were offered after going to camp.

Will the lack of camps this summer affect SU ability to recruit Canada this year or do you feel the coaches have built sufficient relationships at this point?

Over the last several recruiting cycles we have been able to get some really good players out of Canada. Most of these players were offered after going to camp.

Will the lack of camps this summer affect SU ability to recruit Canada this year or do you feel the coaches have built sufficient relationships at this point?

I think our history helps us, but our evaluating ability is obviously affected. The coaches clearly place a high value on in-person evaluation, especially in a place where talent is less ubiquitous.
Overall, I’ll guess it will have a limited impact as other schools will be similarly affected.

All schools are in the same boat, and that is for all prospects whether US or Canadian. They are all going to have to rely more on HS coaching connections and Hudl Video. And possibly the ability to watch some HS games in person during the evaluation period.
