1. We are the highest rated NE Team (Penn State one spot below us)
2. Two of the lowest rated teams reside in the NE too (Yukon at #128 and Rutgirls at #121)
3. West Point is #19 (Which I am proud of them but realize they are over-ranked)

Agree about a lot of your points. Especially UL. Yes, they went 2-10 last year. But the talent level of that team is still good, probably better than our talent.

They have won a lot of games in recent years.

Transitioning to a new coaching staff and new schemes is going to be tough. I am sure there will be culture shock coming from the environment the old staff promoted. But they aren't nearly that bad. And FSU still has top 30 talent right now...

Agreed we realistically should be favored in 10 of the games. However, until the first game we just don't know.

The funny thing is this feels like the 1990's again. Cuse is Top 20 and neck and neck with Penn State. While Rutgers sucks and UConn is totally irrelevant. Things are getting back to normal.

Army was so overrated in 2018. No wins vs. power conference teams and two wins vs. FCS teams. They will once again have two FCS teams on their schedule in 2019. Ridiculous.

A little harsh, I mean taking Oklahoma to OT in Norman isn't so bad. And what they did to Houston in that bowl game was almost criminal.

We'll know a lot in week 2. They won't be sneaking up on Michigan. I hope Army beats them.

As thrilled as I am to see SU at #15, the list seems a little lazy. Looks like they just took the end of 2018 poll, and then made a couple of small adjustments.

I get annoyed when people put Nebraska in their preseason Top 25. Feels like it's just because of their name. But 74?? Yeah, they're gonna be a lot better than that.

This just makes me realize if we were in the coastal we'd be the only ones stopping ourselves from the ACCCG.

If my counting is right (questionable) over the last 4 recruiting classes the Penn State Nittany Child Abuse Enablers have 37 ESPN Top 300 recruits, and that talent has yielded a preseason team rank of 16.

Over our last 4 recruiting classes we have one (1) ESPN Top 300 recruit, and that talent has us ranked 15th preseason.
