And that's why they shouldn't complain about not moving up after winning their conference tourney. Playing virtual home games is worth more than being a 6 seed. Sort of like our draw in 2003.

kansas state gets a protected seed, then gets sent out to san jose to face one of only 2 california teams in the tourney!

If Cincinnati wins round 1 they will be good value to long way IMO.
They are a good Final Four darkhorse.

Also Maryland got lucky as well.
They are a 6 seed with LSU as their 3 and if they get by the first weekend they get to play in Washington DC which is a stones throw from College Park.

I lived in Iowa for a while, so watch a lot of their games...I have no idea why, but every time I watched them this season they looked like quite possibly the worst basketball team to ever exist. I couldn't pick them to win a game if I wanted to.

I'm sure some people had that experience with us this year though as well. So, who knows, hopefully Iowa can knock them out.
