Is he the gentleman that got the super big ovation during the hometown heroes promo a few seasons ago? It was awesome. That and when they gave Joe Morris's intro when they retired his jersey and described what a bad-ass his father was. Lot's of things they do gameday fall flat, but the hometown heroes segment always seems to be really well-done.
