New Balance announced the signing today of Cooper Flagg to a one-year NIL deal, and multi-year therafter.

And it produced a TV/online spot to debut it.

Everything is up for grabs in today's NIL-driven world. Nike's Duke deal doesn't look great, a trend that will continue to take place.

Sounds like Flagg will do ads/media spots wearing New Balance. When he's repping Duke it's in Nike team-gear. Slightly complicated licensing deal but not so different when professional athletes have apparel deals vs the league deal (Nike vs Adidas shoes etc).

Now New Balance can also add a crown jewel to their basketball roster since he's probably going #1 next year. Tidy business honestly.
