The suit states that Gloria Abrams was struck by a lacrosse ball while standing in the parking lot adjacent to Schoellkopf Field.

Saw this on the college lacrosse discussion page and they are hammering this lady.

so as anyone who has been to cornell knows the only parking lot is a small one in the NE corner. its not like you can get in there and not know there is a practice going on so pay attention..

Can Cornell even have a team practice on August 19th, for all we know it could have been a local high school kid who hit the lady. This is just a foolish money grab

Would be hilarious if all that comes out of this is NCAA penalties for an early practice.

its not an organized team practice just random guys throwing a ball.. so in essecence no different than getting hit by a frisbee just a harder object.

its like if you go by the hockey rink while kids are skating and shooting off season a puck flies into the stands. pay attention.
