N.Y. !!!!
When the Giants and Jets…well in my lifetime the Giants win Super Bowls there isn’t a ticker tape parade in Hoboken….canyon of hero’s baby!!!!Giants and Jets are NJ
Giants and Jets are NJ
Giants and Jets are NJ
It just doesn’t make sense. Did St Louis have a parade for the Rams for last years super bowl? Or Cleveland when the Ravens won? When the Giants and Jets…well in my lifetime the Giants win Super Bowls there isn’t a ticker tape parade in Hoboken….canyon of hero’s baby!!!!

You move to a different state change your name. If they want to call themselves the tri-state Giants sure… haha. But quit riding NY’s coattails
What coattails? It just doesn’t make sense. Did St Louis have a parade for the Rams for last years super bowl? Or Cleveland when the Ravens won?

I know - odd argument. Sure their address is a stone’s throw from the border, but they’ve been called the NY Giants forever. What coattails?
The Giants are the last NY team to win a championship.
I tell them the Bills don’t even play in Buffalo and used to play home games in another country every year. If we want to be dumb and annoying about technicalities, let’s go!I know - odd argument. Sure their address is a stone’s throw from the border, but they’ve been called the NY Giants forever.
I’ve been hearing this argument a lot from Bills fans when I tell them who I cheer for. “They’re not even from NY!”
So? You know how many Patriot/Dolphin/Philly/Cowboy/Steeler fans etc. live around here?
Go BIG BLUE!

I was just referring to using the name New York. What’s the mileage cutoff? If the Giants and Jets move to New Haven CT can they still be called NY?What coattails?

At least those are in the same statesI guess Buffalo should be the Orchard Park Bills too right?
And the Dallas cowboys should be the Arlington Cowboys?

I’m a Bills fan for sure but I’ll root for the Giants if they’re playing Dallas, Washington etc. The Jets? NeverI know - odd argument. Sure their address is a stone’s throw from the border, but they’ve been called the NY Giants forever.

The New York Giants were quite familiar with New Haven and the Yale Bowl, having played an...www.nhregister.com
Love watching Allen, and always cheered for the Bills when it didn’t affect the Jints.I’m a Bills fan for sure but I’ll root for the Giants if they’re playing Dallas, Washington etc. The Jets? Never
I just think they should be the NJ Giants/Jets if they live practice and play in NJ.
It’s no different than Schiano saying Rutgers is a NYC team
Fair enough, I can’t argue with any of those pointsLove watching Allen, and always cheered for the Bills when it didn’t affect the Jints.
But, I disagree, it is very different than Rutgers. The NY Giants shared Yankee Stadium until 1976. At that point they needed their own stadium for obvious logistical reasons. The space simply does not exist in NYC to build a major stadium complex.
NJ offered to build the stadium, 7 miles from the border.
I get the whole address thing, but they’re the NY Giants, and they always will be. And even if they moved to Boise, they’d still be my squad.
NY should be happy they’re repping them in pro football, no other teams even sniff their championship pedigree out of the 3.
Why not? UConn calls itself the "Sixth Borough" of New York.I was just referring to using the name New York. What’s the mileage cutoff? If the Giants and Jets move to New Haven CT can they still be called NY?
