Made it the Jamesville Dewitt v. CBA game last night to get a chance to watch DaJuan Coleman (I see a spelt DaJuan wrong in the thread title, my apologies.) in action. Have to say I was pretty impressed with his game. He was doing a great job of rebounding boxing out right when I shot was taken.

One of the more suprising stengths I saw was his outlet passing. Numerous plays where grabbed a rebound and threw a perfect outlet pass down the court for a rebound.

Highlights:
- 3 Dunks in the first half
- Dunk # 1 Was a first quarter buzzer beater dunk
- Dunk # 2- Was a poserizing tomahawk slam that brought the house down
- Dunk # 3- Offensive rebound that he threw down aggressively

Negative:-
-Was hard to find a negative but on the first possesion of the game he settled for a 3 Point shot that was in an out. Have to imagine how JB would of reaction if he saw his big man take a 3 Pointer.

Anyways, excited for this young kid who seems to have a ton of upside.

Wait - DC2 takes threes? Is he even remotely a threat? I'd never heard he had much of a midrange game, let alone the ability to know down threes.

DC will have full authority to shoot 3s and put the ball on the floor.

Every time he got the ball down low he was triple teamed, and when he put the ball on the deck they easily slapped at it.

Hate seeing big men try to dribble. Have to go up with it quicker.

Other than CBA's 6'11 kid (who was shadowed by Cavanaugh all night long), CBA's next tallest kid is 6'4.

This was a 30 point game until McKenney put all the subs in. :)

Is he eligible to enroll for the second semester at SU? Is there time to get him to South Bend before tonight's game?

who's the 6'11' kid? is he any good? what grade?

Dylan Haines. 6'11 215#. Senior.

Had 16 points (including 3 3-pointers).

We'll break him of the lousy habit of boxing out. He'll have to unlearn that fast.
