Dowels replaces Hudson as starting CB opposite Winfield.

I wonder if Custis will ultimately redshirt.

Does someone in the media (or here) track participation and number of plays? Would be interesting to see the allocation of snaps each game as the season progresses.

Butler could be a game changer, size and speed, if he has the routes down, and catches the ball well, everyone we play will have problems.

He got turned around on that touchdown.
Like the fact he has cross trained at RB, 6-3-195 with speed we used to have a couple running backs like that many years ago. Hopefully Dino gets him as many touches as he can.

My comment was about Cordell Hudson. He got turned around on Colgate's early score.

I'm not sure he got turned around as much as he tried to turn and find the ball. he missed it barely

Love our situation at LT. Conway is the LT of the future and being pressed by Burton. Have waited a few years for Burton to emerge, the man is a beast! Surprised Zach isn't holding anymore after Murphy absolutely pured 4 kicks last week. Still surprised to see Slayton outside. We need him on the inside. This may tell us Pickard isnt yet ready, nor are the frosh. Why not Wilson, on that side? Can't wait for Friday!

Hoft held all of the kicks on Friday.

why the mahoney change? must be a good reason

Kickers and punters usually practice off by themselves on a separate field. If Mahoney is practicing holding, he's missing QB reps.

This isn't a new concept. Dixon held last year.

Dixon was a high school QB. He knew how to throw a pass. Was Hofrichter?

Doesn't matter. Dino doesn't fake FG's.

We just line up and go for it.

Or does he just want people to think that? ;)

Perhaps he feels we're going to score enough that we don't need to fake field goals.
