He's changed his tune from saying SU would go undefeated in the Big East to now we are slumping and vulnerable. He likes Vandy to knock out SU. Per his clip on ESPN2 Bracketology tonight.
Guess that's what happens when you lose for the second time against 31 wins. You're in a slump.

That was actually last night. They just replayed it tonight.

OUR ZONE IS VULNERABLE IN THE TOURNAMENT.

Big East teams coached by people like Huggins, Dixon, Wright, Calhoun, Buzz Williams, JT3 and Jay Wright couldn't figure it out this year even though they see it every year, sometime multiple times, but yeah it's reasonable to think some coaches/players who never ever seen it will tear it apart.

If we played uninspired defense and guys are sick like in NYC than yes, I'd say we are vulnerable. Fortunately, I am not expecting either to be the case.

The only people who will tear our zone apart are the ones we allow to tear it apart. If we cover our areas and contest every shot, including those one second on the shot clock prayers, we'll be fine. I'm not as worried about our defense as I am about our offense right now. We need to come out scorching hot in Pittsburgh and get our confidence rolling again.

No there is just more teams that are better prepared and more ready for the tourney than SU... FSU, Vandy, Ohio St ect.

Kentucky played like crap in the SEC tourney and lost to an NCAA 5 seed. That loss helps get them refocused. Syracuse plays poorly in the Big East tourney and loses to a 6 seed. that means Cuse is vulnerable.

I have no problem with it, everyone on air feels they need to have some justification to back up their opinion - but we put way too much stock in what these "experts" say. They're just pulling this crap out of their ass like everyone else and then searching for some numbers to back up their opinion. In the end, none of it matters one damn bit.

I hope he likes his well done.

I see, so you are saying bet the field, not Syracuse? Excellent odds, nice Sequoia limb you are standing on.

I am glad Dukie V is off the bandwagon, he is a total hypocrite anyway. He was not on the Cuse bus in 2003 and that ended pretty well, so could care less about the bald wonder.

I was very skeptical of Dick being on the bandwagon. I knew he didn't really believe.

Like it or not he is telling it like it is. Our late season play has not passed the "look" test.

We simply haven't looked as good as we did earlier in the season. Our senior leaders played awful in NYC.

Bottom line is that we are not a FF team the way we have played the last part of the season. If we return to early season form we blow through the bracket, if not we going to fall.

It's the time of year when people read too much into conference tourneys. UConn kept them honest last year.
