For now at least?
Obamacare Repeal Might Have Just Died Tonight
Its easy to complain about Obamacare but nearly impossible to get something better without going the single payer route. At the end of the day there is one main truth about healthcare... if we as a society believe that access to healthcare is an inalienable right then the healthy are going to have to subsidize the poor because that's how healthcare works. I think Obamacare sucked because it gave too much to the insurance company with out asking for enough back hopefully this is the time to fix it. Unfortunately I don't have any belief in the "leaders" to do that... they'd rather act like little kids and do things to put on a show for their voters rather than solving anything.
All Americans should want it amended somehow.
It's too expensive for those who need it.
It will be gutted and thankfully renamed.
Bambi = Millard Filmore
It will be tweaked with some minor changes. Just what Obama has asked for for years but the GOP wouldn't allow it.
Then maybe he shouldn't have shoved it down our throats.
I can't wait for Trump to get nothing done. He's going to make Bush look like Abe Lincoln. Hello 25 percent approval ratings. Glorious.
Well written piece
Disagree I think his rating will stay north of 30% barring some kind of geopolitical disaster. He knows how to play the game on social media and can direct his message. None of this is glorious, it's disgraceful and embarrassing
Lol, so you're just counting on nobody that listens to his social media game, smarting up anytime soon huh?
You did see the people who voted for him right?
Can you explain, with any substance, what Trumpcare is?
He didn't. Congress voted it in.
The problem with his ratings will be the 5% approval in NY and California will skew everything.
I dont get it. The Republicans have had years to work on this plan. I mean they claimed to have a better plan ready to go the numerous times congress voted to repeal it (over 60 if u are counting) So you mean to tell me, during all that time, they DIDNT actually have an alternative plan? This is as shocking as the sun rising in the east.
You don't get it. Trump will merely spin a 5 percent approval rating as meaning 5 percent love him..and 95 percent just like him a lot.
Or that the 5% are "loosers," haters and enemies.
And you wonder why the left lost.
It's pompous attitudes like this.
Not pompous at all, there was a large portion of the electorate who did not care what media says and don't believe what the media reports. I know i don't. Most of those people voted for trump. They will continue to support him no matter what he says or does. They will get their news and view points from Trump himself. Trump controls his narrative. Btw I'm conservative, however I did not vote for trump. Just My opinion.
He won the electoral college vote because a large portion of the electorate and the media was conned into believing or minimizing the mental incontinence spewing from his twitter account.
It's Obamacare without the Obama. I bet Republicans could just change the name and the base would love it.
Christ, the rubes have been brainwashed into thinking Assange and Putin are good people (while simultaneously criticizing Obama for going soft on Russia) so getting them to like Trumpcare will be easy.
Then it never would have implemented and we'd unquestionably be in worse shape than we are now with healthcare. Premiums would be higher practically across the board. Poor people would be uninsured.
What do you mean by Obamacare gave too much to the insurance companies?
Mandatory purchasers (especially in the GOP-controlled states that didn't form exchanges) and no restraint on rates.
There is nothing magical about healthcare. It is nothing more nor less than the labor of doctors and nurses and their various and sundry support staff. How can you possibly have an inalienable right to someone else's labor? That just seems so weird to me.
He will get impeached before he can even get an approval rating.
Separate names with a comma.
