Dino Babers announces DL Terry Lockett is out for the year.
Babers said that while defensive backups have stepped up in place of injured starters, he’s rightfully concerned about losing (on average) one starter per game
Babers: “I feel like we’ve got ‘Old Andre [Szymt].’” Dino Babers is excited to see his kicker continue through this season.
Garrett Shrader has made himself “dangerous,” through the first four games while utilizing the weapons he has around him
Babers on upcoming schedule: “If you have a team that’s motivated and wants to shock the world…miracles do happen. Just check the ice.”
Babers has referenced his experience at Eastern Illinois when it went to San Diego St. and won as 21 point underdogs. He knows that can happen if Syracuse looks past Wagner. Note on the game, Mike Schmidt and Tony White both coaches for the Aztecs during that game.
Babers on offensive line: “We need to go back and examine what we do. Everybody can do something.”
Babers on Gadsden: “He is so cool. The situation and the moment isn’t too big for him.”
Babers on coach’s poll ranking: “I’m excited about the top-25, but when you’re in the top-20, that gets me excited. Now, everybody knows. You’re not going to surprise anybody. We have to be able to handle it.”

Barron:
Dino was asked if Barron would be able to play in the 1st half vs Wagner, he replied that he did know the answer, but he hadn't had the opportunity to speak to Barron yet, so he wouldn't comment.
Sounds like he's out.

Interesting presser. My impressions…
Dino is really deflated by the injuries and knows we’re vulnerable. Looks like he might not tinker much on the defensive side of the ball until the off week.
Changes are coming to the OL. Sounds like we’re moving players to their natural position instead of forcing the 5 best out there by moving people around. So I’ll let the OL experts tell me what that likely means.
Will also add that Dino said “the train has left, we can’t put anybody else on it”….definitely a reference to not getting a DL player in the off-season. Couldn’t tell if it was him expressing disappointment at the whiff, or a jab that he wishes we tried to get others.

My memory is that the pens that came with it were pretty crappy and often ripped the paper. But, I admit it might have been user error.
