Class of 2022 DL Kevin Jobity (NY) SIGNED NLI TO SYRACUSE (2/2/22)

I agree he didnt stay long enough to see. He came close with Ishaq Williams. Got Wayne Morgan. He had Gus Edwards and was in a tight race with Ogundeko. I think he was well on his way to landing some of the top 5 prospects in the state each year.
Curtis Samuel too

He was a nice prospect but we weren't anywhere near landing him.

Ishaq should have been here. Ogundeko we were healthily in the conversation with but I never thought he'd actually end up here.

Wayne Morgan, Brandon Reddish and Gus Edwards (who I forgot about because of the decommit) were really the peak of what Marrone was able to accomplish downstate/city/LI. With a sleeper like Bromley mixed in.

Eliminate trolls and waste from your diet, dude!
I have been trying to follow this recruitment through all the derails in the thread.

As best I can determine, we still have not offered Kevin. Is that correct? Was he hoping for an offer from Syracuse today? I can't find the useful info on him with all the other discussions going on here.

Leader Johnson: When do you plan to take a visit?
Kevin Jobity Jr.: I haven’t set up a visit yet.

Leader Johnson: What other schools are recruiting you the hardest at this time?
Kevin Jobity Jr.: Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Yale, Harvard, Princeton, Army, Rhode Island
Leader Johnson: Right now, what are your top schools?
Kevin Jobity Jr.: Holy Cross, Harvard, Villanova, Syracuse and Army.
Leader Johnson: What other programs that have not offered are showing interest?
Kevin Jobity Jr.: Syracuse, Rice, UTSA
Leader Johnson: When do you plan to commit?
Kevin Jobity Jr.: January 29th.

Without any evaluation experience whatsoever something tells me this kid will end up being Jared Verse part 2. Hopefully he impresses enough this weekend and we take a flyer

Keep the discussion on Kevin Jobity gentlemen. You have been asked three times now by three different mods. Next time earns a reply ban to the thread.

CL coming down w the ban hammer threat like it’s her Jobity.

With his apparent physical abilities and to have only played for a year, I would offer him. A large state school would offer as a PWO . Low tuition and all..

I just wonder how bad the staff wants him. They have brought in some young DL in the last couple classes. At the same time its their jobity to find players that can potentially contribute down the road.
If nothing else he adds depth as an end and maybe fills out over next three years and becomes an interior player.

He has the frame to put on another 25 pounds over next few years and still keep mobility.

I agree. Just wondering how much they want him.

I saw one clip at TE and he looked pretty good there as well. Gives you options.

Hes a big kid with good mobility. His coordination has to be solid as he plays LaCrosse. He will end up being 275 or bigger. Hes from NY. We have lots of open scholarships. Why wouldn't we take him?
