I wouldn’t say our DE’s are terribly weak.

It’s the lack of depth at DT that killed us this year.

Sucks to see him go, but I think this is the right move for him.

I don’t think he really fit into our defence as a three down player.

He can be a three down player in a more traditional 4-3, and I don’t think he’ll be short on options.

This is a loss imo but I think they will bring in a guy that fits the scheme better and can play on any down. Linton couldnt gain enough weight to be a true 5 tech. He can play somewhere as a traditional DE. He's a great athlete. I wish him well. If he can get to 250, watch out.
