Ted Gregoire sets announcement date for college decision (247sports.com)

Decision day has been set for class of 2023 Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, N.J.) defensive lineman Ted Gregoire. The 6-foot-6, 275-pounder took an official visit to Rutgers earlier in June and has collected a total of 16 offers.

“I will be announcing my college decision July 23rd,” Gregoire told Scarlet Nation.

The date was not random as it has a special meaning for Gregoire.

"I’m choosing that date because it’s my birthday," he said.

Gregoire is not offering up any early clues as to where he is leaning but will make a reveal leading up to his announcement.

"I’m going to name my Top 5 or Top 3 a couple of days before my commitment," Gregoire said.

Rutgers has been joined by Syracuse, Old Dominion, Army, Temple, Tulane, Rice, Akron, UMass and Kent State as the FBS schools who have offered. He’s also a standout in the classroom and has collected a host of Ivy League
