I read the Neil Peart thread with sadness but, it reminded me of the last time i really heard a band that made me say what to hell did i just here? Its been 33 years basically since i heard a song and a band that i said holy crap an edgy rock band in this day and age. Its a shame the lead singer was a diva and other members partook in way to many drugs. They didnt last long unfortunately but damn it was a revelation to hear there debut Album after so many hair bands and pop princesses in the 80's I dont know if there record has been broken but this debut Album was the top selling debut Album of all time at the time, It was at one time of the top ten selling albums of all time. So even though i mourn the loss of Neil Peart another rock super star i give it up to the last band that made me say hit damn ro real rock band, and the song i heard to make me say that.
