Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. How about this quote from the article you cited:He committed to ND but never enrolled or signed a LOI. He switched his commitment and signed with the Buckeyes.

He then transferred out of OSU three days ago:

And then he was arrested in Bowling Green two days ago:

Police came upon Perkins back on the woman's front porch, apparently intoxicated, with "blood all over his hands and clothes," "wet pants as if he had urinated on himself," and large cuts on his right wrist. When an officer asked Perkins why he was at the home, the player replied, "I called coach and he said to go to her house."
I was thinking the same thing...something not quite right there.Sounds like a good miss.
I doubt he thought that Tenn would never sign another DE. Just as I'm sure SU will sign players at positions they signed players last year. Maybe even higher rated players, dare we hope? The 2 I question are the ones that went to ND Ishaq Williams is still not going to be starting as a junior next season and Jarron Jones will be a backup as a sophmore. They both MAY have started from day 1 at SU.And Tennessee just picked up another DE recruit...hmmm wonder what young Mr. Brown was thinking.
Oh come on Mark!I was thinking the same thing...something not quite right there.
