Fab might try to go pro after this, but regardless of what the notoriously contrived mock drafts say, it's going to be an uphill battle for a guy who misses almost half of his lay-up attempts and is a somewhat worse than average rebounder for his size.
Academic ineligibility might be worse for Fab's career prospects than it is for the team. I hope he gets himself together.

We all know there's a huge step up from college to the NBA.
Fab has size.
He's shown athleticism, defensive ball sense, some nice passing touches & body control.
Most importantly, he's 7 feet tall.
But there is NOOOO WAAAY he is anywhere close to having the strength to battle with NBA centers.
Some essential skills also are lacking.
He may get drafted.
It seems likely.
But would he have any kind of substantial NBA career?
Let's just say it may be highly advisable for him to spend another year or two in college.
At some point he could be a lottery pick.
Otherwise he might not even reach the levels attained by other guys who recently went from SU to the NBA
((e.g. Mrsrs. Flynn & Green)
Meanwhile, I believe Bird Library is open until 1AM tonight.

Agree.
And alot dpends on our go to scorers. Thats one of our teams glaring weaknesses right now behind our backup centers and Rak not being a consistant PF yet.
This team has one Waiters. We are trying to develop a second.
Our 09-10 team for example had AO(we lose in crunch time), Wes as go to scorers and Rautins as a dagger shooter on the arc(can't be a go to guy if you can't shoot off the dribble).
Forget about the offense Melos defense alone would be so big for us next year!! Hope he comes back big time. We are going to have so much firepower again next year reguardless!
