Yes we are still far behind over half the bubble lost again this weekend.
Have to pass between nine and 14 teams but it can happen
Numbers are still respectable

Only one opportunity to get a good win left before the ACC tourney. Need to beat Louisville or it won’t even really matter if we close out with 5 wins after that (which won’t happen anyway). We have only one decent win against a sub-par/very much down year UVA team. At least the games are entertaining now and not a parade of 54-52 rock fights.

I am right there with you. Absolutely, has to start by beating Louisville on the road. If you get that win we move up quite a bit and then its stockpiling Quad 2 and Quad 3 wins. We will still have work to do in then ACC tournament but there would be a chance. All you can ask for is a chance. The team has shown it can play with anyone. It will come down to making the big shot at the end of one of these key games.

i believe!

If we don’t go 2-0 this week, that’ll just about do it. If we go 1-1, we 100% need to win out and win 2 ACCT games.

If we lose to Louisville (assuming we don’t beat a big boy in the ACCT), our 2 best wins were at UVA and at ND. so we gotta go for quantity of wins at this point

We’ll see. Even if we don’t beat Ville I’m not giving up on a 6 game win streak to get in.

But we aren’t that good even our wins have been coin flips that could have gone either way apart from GT and BC. Hughes isn’t on any draft boards we really need him back. If we don’t get him back we really need a good grad transfer pickup. I like Buddy but if JBs #1 priority is to ensure he gets 35+ mins a game rest of his career Baylor might be the only tournament game he ever plays.

Simplest way to say we are done is when we can’t get to 20 wins or we will have a minimum of 13 or 14 losses

Yes. Even if we beat Louisville I don’t think 19 wins gets us in. Absolutely need to get to 20 (this includes the ACCT). Our main problem is after Louisville, we have no chances for “good wins”. Combine that with the fact our first ACCT game also doesn’t give us the chance for a good win, and it’s tough.

Cuse can’t even see the bubble from where they are. They’d have to win the ACC Tourney...and, though I bleed orange, that ain’t happening.

We haz none top 50 wins, they says.
No is bono.

Keep thinking back to D Nics senior year when they got snubbed but Stanford made it at large with an 18-13 record. Lots of ball to be played still

Not going to get worked up about this either way. Fact is we just aren't good enough this year. But we have improved greatly and the team always plays hard. Makes me feel much better about next year.

We were 22-10 and 12-6 in the Big East. Everybody, including Lunardi and Gottlieb said we were in. Then we weren't. Arkansas, who nobody thought was in, (21-13, 10-10 in the SEC), suddenly was in. We got the 2nd seed in the NIT southern regional and a story came out that we were in that spot because that was supposed to be Arkansas' spot but a deal had been made to get one more SEC team and one less Big East team.

I was thinking more about Stanford getting in at 18-13.
