Most of the best have been mentioned already, but 2 baseball movies I like are Bang the Drum Slowly and The Stratton Story. I'll also throw out Fever Pitch (Not the Red Sox love fest), the soccer film about "the Gunners" 1988-89 EPL Championship starring Colin Firth.
