They had the heart of champions, and that's all that matters.

I don't know man, that seems a bit hateful - or at least disrespectful. Not sure if there's a place for that around here.

Maybe Rutgirls should schedule Champion Baptist. They might squeak out a W.

Ouch.
They started the game falling behind 44-0. According to Pomeroy, that broke an NCAA all-time record (worst start ever had been 34-0)

44-0. That is a whitewash times 4.

Pomeroy ranks them as the 256th team (out of 351). They actually beat North Florida. And it appears the coach is also the president of the school.

Yowsa! The Rutgers of the South!

Interesting things I just read about Champion Baptist: They have 250 students, they had their all-college Christmas party at someone's house, they don't have a website, and they have this on their Facebook page from about a month ago; "Are u interested in playing basketball or volleyball for the Champion Tigers? Call 501-623-2272 for more information on our sports programs!"

Kinda surprised they put up those 12 points...

Reminds me of our JV team in high school back in the day. They use to put up 100+ points on a regular basis. I remember one game the final was 129-17. Only time I ever saw a team win by over 100 until now.

The shame of it is that the NCAA allows "colleges" with fewer total students than many year classes in high schools to compete at this level.

They can't be D1, or how the heck is Cornell the only winless D1 team?

They aren't D1, or in the NCAA, or the NAIA.

Something called the Association of Christian College Athetics.

The best part? They're one of the better programs in that league...three national titles!

I think they're the collegiate equivalent of "home-schooled."
