Several of the world's top athletes will compete at the Pepsi Florida Relays this weekend.


GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida track and field program will host the Pepsi Florida Relays, one of the nation's premier collegiate and high school track meets, this weekend at Percy Beard Track, located inside James G. Pressly Stadium.

Meet results, provided by Delta Timing, will be made available via the Pepsi Florida Relays page on FloridaGators.com

Fans who plan on attending the Pepsi Florida Relays should be aware of the following information.

Meet Days (all times Eastern)
Thursday, March 31st – Gates open at 1 p.m., competition begins at 2 p.m.
Friday, April 1st – Gates open at 8:30 a.m., competition begins at 9:30 a.m.
Saturday, April 2nd – Gates open at 8:00 a.m., competition begins at 9:00 a.m.

Fans can purchase tickets online at FloridaGators.com/tickets, or buy them at the window on the day of competition. Ticket prices are as follows:
 
Florida Relays Entries
- Danielle Delgado and Victoria Parker are set to compete in the 200-meters, to get things underway for the women. The men will be represented by Chuka Soronnadi and Kashif Miller in the event.
- The 400-meters will feature Delgado and Brittany Belo to cap off the first night of racing on Thursday.
- Jabari Butler will get his week started on Friday in the high jump, with Reggie Morton lined up to participate in the long jump. Regine Hunter will be competing in the triple jump.
- Delgado will continue her busy weekend in the 100-meter hurdles, where Tia Thevenin will look to extend her indoor success 40-more meters in her outdoor debut.
- The 100-meters will feature ACC finalists from indoor in both the men's and women's race, with Winston Lee set to represent the men, and Shaina Harrison, ACC runner up, competing for the women.
- 'Cuse will again have a loaded field in the hurdles, with NCAA runner-up Freddie Crittenden III leading the way with Chevis Armstead, Richard Floyd and David Gilstrap – who all also were ACC finalists – set to debut in their outdoor campaigns.
- Rebecca Robinson will also return to the track for Syracuse this weekend, competing in the 400-meters.

The Syracuse track and field team opened its outdoor slate at a pair of events this weekend, with the distance runners heading to the Stanford Invitational and the sprinters heading to the Florida Relays.

In Florida, Freddie Crittenden III took eighth in the 110-meter hurdles, with a time of 13.60, with teammates Richard Floyd (14.09/27th), Chevis Armstead (14.26/31st) and David Gilstrap (14.29/34th) representing the deep 'Cuse field as well.

Winston Lee finished 27th in the 100-meter dash in 10.48 seconds.

Kashif Miller and Zack Warden finished 36th and 37th in the 200-meter dash respectively after being separated by 0.02 seconds. Miller crossed the line in 21.60 seconds, with Warden being in 21.62 seconds.

Shaylyn Tuite higlighted the day in Stanford. In the women's 10k, Tuite finished second in section two of the 10,000 meters, with a career-best time of 33:22.04, shaving nearly 22 seconds off her previous time. Her time was the third-fastest in program history. Teammate Margo Malone crossed the line in 33:55.93, taking 23rd overall in section one.

Philo Germano led the way in the 10k for the Orange, racing to a personal-best time of 29:04.60 and taking sixth overall. Dan Lennon followed closely behind with a time of 29:16.13, which was good for 16th.

Kevyn Hoyos also ran in the 10k, finishing in 29:39.85 and taking 31st overall.

Adam Palamar raced to time of 13:59.03 in the 5k, which was good for an 11th place finish in section one of the event, with Mickey Burke (14:15.81) and Nick Ryan (14:36.63) taking 15th and 21st respectively in section two of the race.

Next up for the Orange, the teams will head to Princeton's Sam Howell Invitational or the Miami Hurricane Invitational.
