I've been in touch with the Athletics Department regarding the viewing experiences of Syracuse's games which are part of the ACC Network package. The Miami game was the first that fell in this group, the VA Tech game will be the second.
They are now aware of the issues that have been experienced (and reported here) and these issues are being addressed now.
Syracuse games should be the game that's shown by ACC affiliate stations in the traditional Syracuse markets. ESPN3 blackouts should not occur in any other markets.
If you experience any other issues please let me know and I'll be sure that the right people on the hill are made aware of them.
There's no need to convey comments of "it was easier last year with SNY", those are known. Hopefully a similar solution for non-ESPN/non-CBS/non-RSN games can be found in the future.
For this season, if you don't have a local ACC Network affiliate station then you should be able to watch games via ESPN3 and possibly theacc.com (they showed the Miami game).
Based on the ACC's website, here's what's left. The @VPI, NC State and @FSU games are the only remaining questionable games.
Remaining schedule:
Tue Jan 07 @ Virginia Tech 9:00 PM ESPN3
Sat Jan 11 vs North Carolina 12:00 PM ESPN
Mon Jan 13 @ Boston College 9:00 PM ESPNU
Sat Jan 18 vs Pitt 4:00 PM ESPN/ESPN2
Sat Jan 25 @ Miami 1:00 PM CBS
Wed Jan 29 @ Wake Forest 9:00 PM RSN
Sat Feb 01 vs Duke 6:30 PM ESPN
Mon Feb 03 vs Notre Dame 7:00 PM ESPN
Sun Feb 09 vs Clemson 6:00 PM ESPNU
Wed Feb 12 @ Pitt 7:00 PM ESPN/ESPN2
Sat Feb 15 vs NC State 3:00 PM ACCN
Wed Feb 19 vs Boston College 7:00 PM ESPN2
