The names leaking of Spring Portal visits is wildly insane to me. Its the best OL, the best Interior OL, its all former 5 start recruits. I dont know if this man sleeps. I dont know how he has enough minutes in the day. I dont know how he remembers the names of all of these people.

What did we do to deserve this? We are on the verge of just being the biggest of the biggest schools to deal with. Oregon, Texas, Ohio State, Georigia, Syracuse is just going to start rolling off of people tongues.

Commission the statue and sign the extension today.

at first blush, I'm thinking similar. I think he has unique ability to talk and connect with high school students and portal/transfer kids alike. certainly could change my mind based on what others are thinking.

Fran sells the family, not just the player, and as in Watson's and Kyle's case he tells them to go, rather then trying to keep them here.
He's true to himself ,do what's best for the player, and the family.

It is exciting!

But seeing how the landscape of college football has changed since the inception of the portal, it also indicates that we didn't just need a good head coach, but also someone who understood these changes and could help us be on the bleeding edge of the "new" current.

Fran has done that, and then some.

If we can ever find a way to have a reasonably good season in year 2, against this brutal schedule, then the sky will be the limit in terms of what Fran can achieve here. Including finding our way into the expanded playoff picture.

It’s truly amazing and very good for the sport to have a northeast powerhouse back in the fold. We got our southeast, southwest, Midwest, northwest all represented. No better guy than Fran to be the face of it and at Syracuse!

I think he'd still be doing really well. He's recruited well at Temple, Rutgers, SU, Georgia, pre and post NIL, pre and post-portal and has done well in all scenarios.

Fran is so REAL and HONEST how can you not like the man. I feel good about Syracuse football again just because of him! Its a breath of fresh air just knowing what he’s capable of and the direction that the team is going in!
