Yo, so recently I watched Night School with Hart and Haddish. It was way funnier than I expected.

And it got me thinking, what are some really funny movies that went under the radar? So tell me about them here.

Here's one more for you - The Losers. It's a good bad movie. Just roll with it. There's a great scene with Chris Evans that made me cry laugh.

How new are we talking? Here's some older ones I loved that weren't huge hits.

Zach and Mimi Make a Porno (won't work if you're not a Seth Rogen fan)
What About Bob (underrated BIll Murray film)
Night Shift (Keaton at his best)
Silver Streak (stupid film, but you get Richard Pryor AND Gene Wilder)

I actually look a lot like Seth Rogen.

Chubby Rogen. Not like, when he's in shape.

The Paper
High Fidelity
Soapdish
PCU
Bowfinger
Top Secret
Rat Race
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Saved!
Max Dugan Returns

Night Shift! Definitely underrated.

Enjoyed Silver Streak but funny moments were isolated.

Hot Rod and Grandma's Boy I think are under the radar and still kill me. Obviously are mega ones like StepBrothers and early Sandler but those 2 are gems.

Tragically underrated (The Losers)

What a cast...

Hot Rod is good fun.

I think I suggested this one in a different thread, but for those not in that thread:

Sorry Not to Bother You was pretty great...it gets weird, and at times might miss the mark, but the parts that are funny (and the overall commentary) are fantastic IMO

Hot Rod is good fun.

Speaking of Hot Rod - those weird sports docu-series on HBO that Samberg does are pretty terrific (and off the charts bizarre)

Hot Rod is good fun.

When my younger guy was really young, Mrs. and I taught him that when adults asked him his name (which occurred fairly often cause we always hauled him all over with us), he would state his name and then go "and I like to party." We would then crack up but the person that he would say it to never got it because it was such a bizarre non sequitur from a 3-5 year old. He would also say "old enough to party" when adults asked his age. He's in second grade now and, unsurprisingly perhaps, has had some academic and behavioral struggles in school.

Quality parenting.
