Only won one major among his 29 tournament wins but even as he got older he was very competitive on tour. When he was 47 he came in 2nd in the PGA Championship and 8th in the Masters. When he was 49 he came in 10th in the Masters and when he was 52 he came in 22nd in the US Open. Obviously overshadowed by Jack and Arnie but was very well respected. For those who never really heard of him he tied with Lee Trevino for the 19th most all time PGA wins. Four more than Johnny Miller and five more than Gary Player.
