Lots of talk about about how horrible our run D was against Pitt. And it was.
But if there’s good news, it’s this:
It’s similar to what happened with FSU and Clemson. They couldn’t handle our DL. We’re rushing 4 and getting home. A lot. We’re tied with Clemson and Miami at the top in sacks in the ACC. Robinson and Coleman are #2 and #3 in the ACC. This helps our secondary out a ton.
If teams are scared to pass, we’re forcing teams to be more 1 dimensional to an extent. Our 3rd down D is very good (#3 nationally). We have to stop the run somehow. It’s imperative (and obvious). But still.
