I think Gottlieb got the better of it...

A. Shermans beard is AWFUL. He is literally wasting years of his college life with that beard. What girl is going to be within 10 feet of him?
B. The last 50 seconds of that game!!!!

I can't be the only 1 who assumes that Shermans nickname growing up (and probably still is as a 22 year old) was Sherminator?

each of them used 2 different ways to "retweet" which makes it very confusing for the non-twitter folks.

The original tweet (gottliebs) is in "quotes". Then Sherminator retweeted and added his after the quotes. Finally Gottleieb did his retweet and added the beginning portion as his response.

i agree with you on the response to the response as being unprofessional.

but the beard is a personal choice. that is fair game especially to a national sports radio guy.

The thing is, they're probably thrilled with the attention - no such thing as bad publicity. It seems like big media doesn't generally care how you get attention (outside one notable exception) - all that matters is you get attention.

It's all about immediate gratification and winning the current 24 hour cycle, the problem is it has gradually eroded public confidence in media/journalism. When acting like an eight year old is tolerated by the executives, why would we put any faith in what is said on their networks/in their papers/etc? Very short-sighted approach...
