The Doors: The Doors, Morrison Hotel

Couldn't agree more, Tee. (I also really like Waiting For The Sun and especially Strange Days). I was going to include them and some others, but then I thought, "Don't be a slut, leave some for others." ;)

Thats funny, I don't remember bashing your selections. I listen to a lot more than just metal, although its my favorite.

Every once in a while, I get the impression I'm younger than everyone else on here.

Not bashing at all, lummgr, just having some fun with your "shake things up" line because it made me smile. I've always believed "different strokes for different folks," especially with music. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Cowtown, great list! I'd bet that you were a Poco fan too, no?

Derek and the Dominos: Layla and other assorted love songs---one of the most epic of all time.
Traffic: Shoot out at the Fantasy Factory/ Low Spark of High Heeled Boys
The Who: Who's Next

That stuff NEVER gets old.

Traffic did some great stuff, I especially like Live at the Canteen.

Two other great Allman Brothers Band albums:
Idlewild South
At Filmore East (live)
Tee, I've been to more Brother shows than I could even possibly count. I'm hoping to catch them at the Beacon next March and help my son pack up for moving back here to Fla. The 1st time I saw the Brothers was at Watkins Glen with the Dead and The Band. I'm certain I will never witness a festival like that again in my lifetime. I was 17 at the time.

Yeah, hell yeah! Welcome to the Canteen with Dave Mason. They had a cat named Rebob Kwaku Baah that played percussion. Wow!

Think you can guess what I'm pulling out and playing next, as soon as I hit "post reply"? :)
