First of all, the Orange looked like a real team again today. Just a great great effort.
And then, my alma mater, Mercer University, won the Atlantic Sun, to make the NCAA for the first time since 1985. I know some people don't like the small schools in the NCAA, but we've lost the conference tournament championship at least 4 times since my freshman year, and the previous two years. (I think I can use "we" in this case since I went to school there
) I can't tell you how excited I am right now to finally get it done!
That being said, watch Syracuse and Mercer end up in a 2/15 game against each other. The one time my alma mater makes it and I wouldn't even be able to cheer for them if that happens! (I've bled Orange for 37 years so Syracuse gets priority and it's not even close.)
