His mother is a nice lady as well. I got to chat with her for quite a while during last year's ACC Championship game rain delay as we tried to keep dry.

The program is (over)due for some Meomorial Day weekend success!

Jordan had a couple of early opportunities that he didn't convert. The goal at the end of the 3rd period was as good a goal as he has ever had, and absolutely clutch. We don't win without him today.

More than that,he came up with huge ground balls including the massive scrum ground ball near the end of game. He was doing a great job of burning clock at end before his buddies screwed it up also.

This is an especially close-knit team who honestly believes that if you shut one or two players down then somebody else will step up. In this game it was Jordan Evans who provided the difference. A nice stat line of three goals, two ground balls, a caused turnover and only one turnover. Great game also by Jamie and Ryan, two goals each by a couple of players not usually featured. And let's not forget Evan in goal. He always ups his game in the 4th quarter. A win is a win, is a win.

Good game from Evans and as someone noted above could have easily had 1 or 2 more goals. He did have a pretty brutal turnover in the second half but that goal at the end of the 3rd quarter was enormous. He also did a nice job late before Solomon took that ill advised shot. He came up big when the team really needed it.
