I'm pretty sure Doyel really does think he's an MMA fighter. I dislike him more than any writer. He's a douche that just tries to get reactions from people and has a whole mailbag that revolves around people hating him.

If the team wants to put up every piece of anti-Syracuse doubting crap spewedby the media over the last 48 hours, they are going to need a bigger locker room. This is by far the most hated on #1 seed in tournament history.

You can't expect these people to think Syracuse is primed for a run with the loss of their starting center. They are drawing from the earlier season trials they faced without Melo, & they firmly believe this team is not capable of learning from these past experiences. They are using the Notre Dame game as a model for their philosophy, which is terribly flawed.

It's ok, this team has proven people wrong all season, including myself & many of us here. I will admit, I never thought they could win 2 out of 3 games without Fab, but they knuckled under & got it done. I also know they really had to shoot very poorly to lose at Notre Dame, & I just don't see that happening in this tournament. Syracuse handles Notre Dame EASILY if they shoot even an average percentage...

This is the perfect storm for a Syracuse Championship run, & I WELCOME the overtures of these non-believers.

Let fools do what they do best... BE FOOLISH...

Remember, these experts usually have poor brackets (most everyone does). So the fact that almost everyone is picking against Syracuse could be a good thing.

I'm not going to worry about it though, as I can't blame them for doing that with no Fab. But it's all about one game at a time now. Nothing else matters. Not records, not people's opinions, not matchups on paper.

Just win.
