I'm thankful for the Thanksgiving Day Parade, getting up to watch the floats, dancers and marching bands. Always fun to enjoy it before heading out to family festivities.

I'm very thankful for my family, my wild man dog who is resilient on the football field, for our troops protecting our freedom and all the other good stuff that makes this country great!

I'm thankful for the forum and my board friends. Enjoy the day and your holidays and whatever happens with Syracuse sports, remember this. We have endured a lot of tough times as fans yet we still are hopeful year after year. I do not blame anyone for deciding to give up as it's been rough! But there's still a lot of good in this world and a lot to enjoy.

Let’s all be thankful for our year round ability to talk about our favorite teams. I try to remember what it was like before we had forums. For you who are old enough, we use to get our information from things like “Big East Briefs.” Boy have times changed.

Back in the seventies sometimes I sat in a radio station in AK to read the ticker tape to get the periodic scores during a game. Times have changed but I'd trade technology for teams that are relevant like the good old days. I feel for the recent fans that have never experienced the glory days of Cuse basketball, the rivalries, the talent, the chemistry.
