Duke is apparently pretty honest - in this area, anyway.
"Meanwhile, Duke’s 25 prospects, on average, got nearly a half inch taller in shoes when they got to the combine. The program declined to discuss its process for measuring guys in-house. But the prevailing theory among opposing coaches was that players at schools such as Duke and Kentucky don’t need to exaggerate their height, because they’re actually as tall as you’d want an NBA prospect in their given position to be. Or, alternatively: “I’m guessing our strength coach is just honest,” one former Duke staffer said. “They do real measurements.”
