I too have experienced this phenomenon. I'm pretty sure they had to add a new database column.

I think the mods should add some kind of sound effect for a tee, should be easy in the digital age. Something like this...

A post with 1-3 likes= applause
A post with 4-7 likes= vigorous and enthusiastic applause
A post with 8+ likes=the crowd reaction in the Dome at the end of this game(always worth watching..even if it is the enemy's broadcasters)
