Seems like there's enough evidence that having a bye into the next round is advantageous. Saw it in the Big 12 and ACC tournaments and now Oregon takes it to Iowa. I know you still have to play the games, but I'm going to take a wild guess that Oregon prepped exclusively for Iowa and had more time to do so.

Hopefully, the bubble is established at this point and no one else has to drop out.
