It really doesnt matter how high they get. They will never get above a 4-5 seed even if they run the table.

They have 3 non D1 wins
Their SOS is 239
They have 12 wins vs the top 150 RPI

Plus their best rebounder is now hurt. They will get picked off at some point and then will slowly fade away.

There are, what, 300 mid-major basketball programs out there? Mathematically, you are going to see at least two or three of them every season having a corp of five or six upperclassmen who can all ball and have played together for three years led by a talented young coach moving up the ranks.

We've seen it time and again. The mid-major team can be legit any given season. It's one of the many beauties of college basketball.

I actually have seen them play twice... USF would be PK with them neutral court

They won't lose all year in their conference against nothing competition and will keep moving up the rankings as the top teams in the power leagues take a few loses to other ranked teams.

Memphis was a three point shot from a national championship. Murray may be a fraud but I wouldn't use memphis as an example.
