i mean cmon now
We've seen it time and again. The mid-major team can be legit any given season. It's one of the many beauties of college basketball.
lol, you mean 300 D I schoolsHow did VCU make it to the Final Four 10 months ago?
How did Butler make it to the Title Game in back-to-back seasons?
There are, what, 300 mid-major basketball programs out there? Mathematically, you are going to see at least two or three of them every season having a corp of five or six upperclassmen who can all ball and have played together for three years led by a talented young coach moving up the ranks.

I actually have seen them play twice... USF would be PK with them neutral courtThey are a very good team, and they have a favorable schedule. I'd like to know if the people complaining about their ranking have actually seen them play? They have been a good team for a few years now.
As someone else said, let them enjoy it. Would you also complain when TCU or Boise climbs in the football poll?
Get used to this. It's the same deal Memphis got for years in C-USA. Murray St is a good team but probably not top 10 worthy. They won't lose all year in their conference against nothing competition and will keep moving ip the rankings as the top teams in the power leagues take a few loses to other ranked teams.
It really doesnt matter how high they get. They will never get above a 4-5 seed even if they run the table.
They have 3 non D1 wins
Their SOS is 239
They have 12 wins vs the top 150 RPI
Plus their best rebounder is now hurt. They will get picked off at some point and then will slowly fade away.
Yet it always looks so ugly when they do . . . . . . . . . .
